New Format  - New Races - New Meeting Point 

Welcome to the Lysty Trail Blazers.

We are excited to spend time with you learning new skills, riding the fabulous Lysty trails, having some dress-up theme days and having a go at some timed racing this year.

Format: Today we will set off on the trails headed to Dog Pound. There we will session some berms in preparation for the Enduro Race. This will be a super fun chance to be timed on your runs. There will be e-bike helpers ready to tow you back to the start for another run.

Our ride is open to all abilities  Any groups we split off into will be "no drop" and we'll meet up at any junctions for a chat. After the ride we have time to share our adventures over fruit and drinks.

Ability Is your shredder a Blazer or a Speedy?

Blazer: can ride a mix of single track and fireroads and ride approximately 10kms at varied pace.

Speedy: can ride 90% of the trails and features at Lysty and comfortably ride 10-15km. 

Ride leaders will ulitimately decide on groupings on the day.  

Important: A parent or guardian is REQUIRED to ride with your child - If you dont ride but your child can ride with a mate and their guardian, just fill out the details on your ticket.

Time & Place: Please enter via Horswood Road, drive through the gates, and turn LEFT at the roundabout into the carpark, then follow this all the way to the BBQ/Lake carpark at the end. We have a new meeting place at the LDTR Club House. The Club House is about halfway along the footpath heading back towards the entrance. 

Schedule:                                                                                                                                           

9:15am Arrive and get ready.

9:30 - 10:15am Ride to Dog Pound and session the berms with qualified coaches.      

10:15 - 11:15am Enduro Race with e-bike tow assistance back to the start. Enduro Race on Dog Pound. Get timed on the decent using our clubs new timing system. This is a fun race and riders can take it at their own pace.

11:15 - Ride back to Club House

11:30 - 12:00noon Fruit, Drinks and chats

Cost: FREE! - but you must register all participants (Parents and Guardians do not need to register)

Important: All riders MUST have Aus Cycling Insurance, this is non negotiable: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership
