Silvan Ride

The time has come to have an adventure at Silvan! if numbers allow we can run in 2 groups, see below

Beginner / Early Intermediate Silvan Ride:

This ride is aimed at confident beginner-skilled riders. Can you ride single track at Lysterfield? Can you ride 15 plus km? Do you have a dedicated mountain bike? This ride is not for the newby beginners, its for the beginners who feel confident at Lysty and are ready to try somewhere new. Some features at Silvan do not have a b-line, and must be attempted, the terrain is challenging yet beautiful and we always have a fun ride!

A wise woman said, "Ride in all conditions, ride different places", no one can tell you how you will take to a trail, so come with us, we will show you around Silvan at a relaxed pace, and you can decide if its for you.

Intermediate Silvan Ride:

For our intermediate riders, Jane from Yarra Ranges MTB will take you on a more advanced ride, expect a lot more km, more technical trails and lots of climbs. 

There is no charge for this event but you MUST register.

All riders must have Aus Cycling insurance: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership

What you will need:

- A mountain bike in good working order

- An Australian safety standards approved helmet

- Water, snacks, spare tube
