This ride is for intermediate and intermediate-advanced riders only, who are capable of most terrains. (Intermediate is based on ability, technical skill, and endurance)
While this event is free to you, it is funded by Change our Game to promote women's participation in sport.
Your spot can be secured by filling out this form. Please only apply if you are confident you can attend the event. If you are unsure about this ride, it is probably not for you, you are more than welcome to join us on a social ride on another occasion. This ride is well known for its technicality, and endurance, it's not a 12k loop with exits. We also ask, If you are going to commit, we ask that you commit to the ride as last minute cancellations are difficult to manage and are unfair to those who miss out.
We will confirm your spots with you, you will be allocated a spot after approval of application Due to the application process for this event, we endeavour to inform you of your position as soon as possible. Your position is not transferable. We are carefully considering all applications.
We ask that you are honest with your skill level. Cascades is an advanced trail with no easy short cut. Once you are on the mountain we cannot show you the easy way out, and there will be many kilometres of terrain to navigate. We must consider the safety of the whole group.

- Ambulance Cover strongly recommended
- A mountain bike in good working order
- An Australian safety standards approved helmet
- Water, snacks, spare tube
